LifeCAPTCHA uses the W3C-standardized WebAuthn protocol to prove you physically interacted with a device, and to prove the device you used isn't blacklisted. This protocol is well-known for being tested and secure.
LifeCAPTCHA makes online abuse expensive. We monitor how often devices verify lifeCAPTCHAs, and if abuse is detected on their device it will be blacklisted, and they will have to buy a new device to use lifeCAPTCHA.
